    From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)
    Turn off at Exit 9. After toll booths bear to the right; follow signs for "Route 18 North- New Brunswick."
    Continue along Route 18 North past the exits for "Route 27" and "Rutgers University" and proceed over the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge.
    Take exit for Campus Rd., Rutgers Stadium, Busch Campus.
    Follow traffic circle 3/4 around onto Frelinghuysen Road. Proceed straight; the field/parking will be on your right.

    From Garden State Parkway (North or South)
    Southbound - Coming from northern New Jersey Turn off at Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south. Follow directions to campus from Route 18 North, below.

    Northbound - Coming from southern New Jersey (below Exit 105) Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North. After approximately 24 miles you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike and continue on Route 18 North. Follow directions to campus from Route 18 North, below.

    Northbound (above Exit 105) Follow Parkway over Driscoll Bridge and take Exit 127 (Route 440 North). Follow Route 440 North (it becomes Route 287 North). Follow directions for Route 287 North, below.

    From Route 18
    Continue along Route 18 North past the exits for "Route 27" and "Rutgers University" and proceed over the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge.

    From Route 1 (North or South)
    Turn off at exit marked "Route 18 North-New Brunswick"
    Continue along Route 18 North past the exits for "Route 27" and "Rutgers University" and proceed over the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge.
    Follow Signs for Campus Rd, Rutgers Stadium, Busch Campus.
    Follow traffic circle 3/4 around onto Frelinghuysen Road. Proceed straight; the fields will be on your right.

    From Route 287 (North or South)
    Turn off at Exit 9 (formerly Exit 5) "River Road, Bound Brook, Highland Park".
    Proceed East on River Road toward Highland Park and make a left onto Sutphen Road.
    Follow Sutphen to the 4-Way stop. Make a left onto Frelinghuysen. The field/parking will be on your left.

    Via Public Transit -- Trains
    New Jersey Transit's Northeast Cooridor Line provides New Brunswick with both local and express service between New York and Newark's Penn Stations and Trenton New Jersey. (For Information 201-762-5100).

    SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority) provides service at Trenton to and from Philadelphia. (For Information 215-580-7800).

    Amtrak provides limited direct service to New Brunswick, however connections can easily be made via New Jersey Transit trains to principle Amtrak stations at MetroPark, New York and Trenton. (For Information 1-800-USA-RAIL).

    -- Buses
    New Jersey Transit Bus Routes (For Information 201-762-5100): M11 - Service between New Brunswick (St. Peter's Hospital) and South River (Main Street and Obert Street). This route also has a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station. M14 - Service between North Brunswick (Fashion Plaza Mall) and Edison (Middlesex County College) with a stop at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue Campus. M15/M18 - Service between Woodbridge Center and Rutgers Student Center with stops at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue Campus, downtown New Brunswick on George Street near the Civic Square Building, and on the Douglass Campus on George Street near Cooper Dining Hall.

    Suburban Transit Routes (For Information 732-249-1100): New York City Express - Service between Princeton and New York City with a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station. 135 - Service between Manville and New York City with a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station. 60 - Service between New Brunswick and Somerville with a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station. From New Brunswick Train Station to Campus

    The New Brunswick Train Station is located at the corner of Albany Street and Easton Avenue across from the Rutgers Bookstore. Cab service is available from the train station.

    Lacrosse Game Cancellation Policy

    Major League Lacrosse games are played rain or shine. They can, however, be delayed or postponed due to severe weather such as lightning storms or hurricanes.

    For game information (non-game days) please contact the New Jersey Pride offices at 973-614-1792 extension 10 between the hours of 10am and 7pm.

    For game information (game days) please contact the New Jerey Pride offices at 973-614-1792 ext. 10 up until 4pm.  After 4pm, the Pride Sales offices are moved to the Yurcak Field box office, which opens 1.5 hours before game time.

    Food and Beverage Policy - Yurcak Lacrosse Field

    Rutgers University policy states that food and beverages will not be permitted into the facility.  Patrons that attempt to do so will unfortunately have those items confiscated upon entrance into the stadium.

    Charitable Donations and Partnerships

    Pride Community Involvement:  Each year, the Pride has worked to raise money and awareness for charitable organizations such as:

    *The The American Cancer Society

    *New Jersey Blood Works

    *The American Red Cross

    *The Special Olympics

    *The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation

    *The Cancer Institute of New Jersey                   

    For the 2008 Season, the Pride has partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of New Jersey and has made the June 21st home game its Team CF Awarness Day.

    We are one of the the only men’s professional team outside of NBA teams that uses its venue and marketing abilities to promote and help foster the growth of the women’s version of the game.  Since 2002, the Pride have devoted one ESPN2 nationally televised games to feature events promoting girls’ lacrosse and women’s issues.  As an example, in 2006 the Pride hosted the first-ever Women’s U.S. National Team alumni youth workshop open to all NJ youth girls, as well as partnered with the Cancer Institute of NJ to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.  Based on this initiative, the Pride was featured on ESPN on July 4, 2006 and our parent league, Major League Lacrosse, contacted the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and began a partnership on a league-wide level.

    Team Mascot - Louie the Lion

    Louie the Lion is the official team mascot of the New Jersey Pride.  You can see Louie at all Pride home games where he is always on hand to meet and greet Pride fans in the tailgating sections of Yurcak Field's parking areas, or giving autographs and taking photos with kids throughout the stadium during the games.

    Louie is available for a limited amount of outside apperances each year.  Please contact the Pride's General Manager at extension 11 for more details.

    The Major League Lacrosse Season

    The Major League Lacrosse season runs for 14 weeks, with games beginning the 3rd week in May and ending with Cahmpionship Weekend the 3rd week in August. Training camp for teasm usually opens the final weekend of April and last right up until the first game.

    About Major League Lacrosse Players

    The majority of Major League Lacrosse players have played in the NCAA and are college graduates.  All eligible players must be registered with Major League Lacrosse prior to being permitted to enter the League Player Pool. For more information, please contact the MLL offices at 617.746.9980 and ask for Lacrosse Operations. To get a tryout with a particular team, you must have the above requirements satisfied and be selected by that team in the college draft, supplemetnal draft or other roster addition permitted in Major League Lacrosse.
