As a Pro:

2007:

Scherr enjoyed his finest season as a pro, starting 11 of the team’s 12 games, and stopping 56% of the shots he faced. He had a career high in saves (26) against Rochester on August 4, and allowed a career low 10 goals to Boton on June 23. He was named MLL Goal ie of the Week twice.

2006:

Started all 12 Pride games, playing all but the final half of the season finale. Played a total of 701:20 on the season. Recorded 173 saves saving 52.3% of the shots on goal. 13.52 goals against average was best for Pride in team history. Was named MLL Defensive Player of the Week following game on May 20 against Boston.

2005:

The keeper played in four games and started one, the first game of the season for Baltimore as the primary backup to goal ie Trevor Tierney.

2004:

Scherr made six starts and played in seven games for Baltimore, winning four games and losing three, including a July 31 win at the Pride. He recorded a career-best save percentage of 57.8

2003:

Scherr played in one game for the Bridgeport Barrage in 2003, but recorded no statistics.

As a Collegian:

Scherr was a two-year starter in goal for the Blue Jays (2001, 2003) He holds JHU career record for lowest goals against (7.73). Scherr ranks seventh in school history in career save percentage (.594). He finished 6th in the nation in goals against average (.712) and 14th in save percentage (.601) as a senior. He helped the Blue Jays to the national championship game as a senior.

Personal:

Scherr works for U.S. Lacrosse in Maryland in their marketing department. He is the son of Dr. James and Bonnie Scherr and has brothers Adam and Eric.
