Biography:
As a Pro: Greg was acquired by the New Jersey Pride on May 4, 2007 from the Philadelphia Barrage in exchange for the Pride’s first round selection in the 2007 MLL Collegiate Draft (No. 5 overall).
2007: Scored nine goals on the season, including a four goal performance at Washington on June 2.
2006: Appeared in eight games for the Philadelphia Barrage after being selected in the 2006 Collegiate Draft. He scored seven points (3G, 4A) in his rookie season. Peyser also collected 18 ground balls and had 22 shots. He picked up 8 ground balls in the Barrage’s Championship Game win over Denver. Peyser is also a current member of the New York Titans of the NLL.
As a Collegian: Third Team All-America selection in 2006, and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team while at Johns Hopkins. Ended his career as the all-time leader in face-off winning percentage for the Blue Jays.
Personal:
Greg’s brothers, Mike, playing as a long pole and Stephen are both members of the Pride. Peyser works at Barclays Capital trading currencies in New York City. He enjoys teaching kids in the sport of lacrosse and in his spare time he enjoys working with the youth programs in his home town. |
